Stevie Bagpipes

I'm Steve Christie better known as Stevie Bagpipes, originally from Edinburgh but now living in the North East of England. I started playing the Bagpipes aged twelve and in my younger years was an award winning Solo Piper and Band Member in the competitive world of Bagpiping. I have played for and had affiliation with numerous bands over the years, The West Yorkshire Fire Service Pipe Band, The West Yorkshire Police Pipe Band, The Guards Depot Piping School and LA Scots to name a few. I have the privileged of being affiliated with Bamburgh Castle and have played there for Public and Private events. I was honoured to be the Lone Piper at the Castle for the weekend celebrations of Her Majesty the Late Queen Elizibeth the Seconds Platinum Jubilee as well as the lone Piper for the celebrations for His Majesty King Charles the Third Coronation at Bamburgh Castle. I am also the Professional Wedding Piper who is featured and recommended by The Wedding Guide Uk. I was also the Professional Wedding Piper who won at The North of England Wedding Awards in October 2023

I am a confident performer and have an immense pride in the services that I provide.

I am available for Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties and all other Special Occasion worthy of celebrating as well as  Corporate and Business Events.

Finally, I always feel very honored and privileged whenever I am hired to perform at a funeral or memorial service. I treat these  ceremonies with the utmost respect when performing for their memory. 

As previously stated I am based in the North East of England but also accept bookings from across the UK and Southern Ireland as  well as international Bookings.
